ABSA Bad service

My cheque account was closed or blocked on Saturday night without any notification of phone call.
i learnt this the hard way when i went to petrol service station in the morning on my way to church. i poured petrol which came up to R 677.00 then swiped debit card to pay and it declined. went to an ATM and card still declined. i had to sit at the service station for 3 hours waiting for some one to come rescue me by paying the petrol amount. my entire morning was wasted and i have never been humiliated in my life, trying to convince the garage cashiers I'm not a. ABSA called me at 10:30 am on Sunday after i had been seating at the service station from 8 in the morning with no money and told ne that they closed the card the previous day because the card had been used 3 times. WHY they failed to call on Saturday and confirm these transactions with me before closing my card is beyond me. i have been with ABSA for years and they have always gave me a BAD service but this is the worst. i sat in the petrol service station with my 9 months old baby for 3 hours, its unacceptable. then i must still call them and waste my money because of their inefficiency and terrible business sys
