Settlement of the account

On the 13 th of December I tried to settle my account using the information on my statement and on the 21 on December I called them to find out that did the receive my payment they told me fax a proof of payment which I did cause on 22 december I got and sms to say they have received my fax which I thought that everything was fine and in Jan I got a call from collections department, only to find out that the money didn`t go through as I made a follow up with my bank because on their statement they printed a wrong branch code of 255005 and instead of 250655, my settlement was R6496.13 now because of their stupid statement that they sent to us and their neglicence they want me to pay R6956.37 . I need this matter to be sorted to be sorted out as I need to seettle this acc before next week.
