Quick to sell but shocking at settlement

I consolodated my debt through my employer in December and the branch settled my DA account. I called the call centre and sent them a proof of payment. I was told that my payment had gone missing and it will take 10 days to find it the consultant promised she wold open a query and give me feedback. After 10 days the only feedback I received was the collections department telling me my debot order had rejected. I explained that I had settled my account and repeated the intertwined story to the collections agent who said she could help me I'd have to call the service centre. I called the call centre aand my call was cut not once but twice whilst I was in mid conversation. Third time around I spoke to a team leader who said she would have to start a new query and I must wait another 10 days for feedback. I found this unacceptable. I eventaully contacted my bank who managed to find and allocate my paymnet back to the same day. I have since settlement my loan and was charged an additional R209-00 in interest and I've been advised to wait ANOTHER 10 days for the payment to be allocated and my account to be closed. Funny it took 15 minutes for the funds to be paid out to me same day???
