Another reason to stop banking with FNB

This is the 4th time i have received such bad service from FNB.

Was in their Durban North branch this afternoon, to close my cheque account, because i"ve had enough of their bad service. this account hasnt been used in months. i was told, that there were service charges that needed to be paid, in order to close the account, and t oreport tothe teller, to make the payment.

When i was at the teller, i was then told, that they cannot assist, as they could not access the account, i then had to go back to the consultant, who then advised me that because of some information that was missing from my profile, she could not assist. i was told you report to the branch again tomorrow, with my I.D. document, and they can assist.

this consultant was rude, and highly obnoxious!

she assumes that i have nothing better todo, than sit in the bank the whole day. this is why i have changed my bank, what pathetic service.

And now, because of this delay, further charges will abviously be added onto that account, and i am forced to pay for it, or this account will remain open, and I am ultimately liable for the charge.
