On the 30th of October 2013 I went to use the atm at empangeni rail branch to withdraw money. I withdrew a 1000 then the card got stuck in the atm because i was using the branch atm I then went to the branch because i did not have airtime while there waiting i received an sms saying R 2000 has been withdrawn and another one saying R3000 has been withdrawn.
What really me off was that at the branch they said an investigator will contact me in 7 days which never happened and a lady by the name of Mbali that works at mpangeni rail said she sent me an sms which i did not receive.
i then called the call centre and they said i won't be refunded the 5000 rand because the money was withdrawn before the card was cancelled... what i want to know is i used a branch atm my card got stuck at the branch atm went into the branch received smses while inside the branch and they don't want to refund my money.
WHAT A USELESS BANK I DONT RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE...
I even made an appointment to see the branch mananger but i have not had any feedback from Mbali ''empangeni rail branch''. I'm now left with no choice but to go to the ombudsman
