I have a personal loan with Bayport & my debit order date has been on 21st monthly from 2013 when i took out this loan. i called them beginning of January asking them to please move my debit order date to 30th
monthly. I was then advised that it was done & everything was in order. Since the 21 January i have been getting smses from them stating that my payment for 21st has not been received & my account is behind.
Then i lady called me from their call centre & i advised her that i requested my debit date to be changed so my acc is not behind..She then said if thats the case then all is in order. however the messages still continued to a point that they even threathened to list me has a slow payer. the debit orders went off yesterday but they charged me extra as if my acc was ibn arrears. i called their offices now & spoke to Milton who advised that it looks like late payment fees..How can they charge one that for moving your debit date yet my account is up to date..Disgusting
