I have 2 loan accounts with Nedbank, my debit orders have been going off and been honored, however at the end of January the debit order went off on the 01 of Feb and not the 31st January, I then received a letter in March stating that my account is in arrears, I contacted the complaints resolution department who investigated and apologized and said that the account is not in arrears, I have been double debited this month. I am furious to say the least. For 2 months the payment was about 2 days late due to my salary clearing later than usual however the payment was honored, maybe late buy it was honored. Personal loans have now listed me as a slow payer on ITC, yet payment was made. They are now telling me if I change the debit order date to the 5th of the month they will not refund the 1 payment, if I choose to leave the debit order date as the same they will refund the 1 premium but the account will still show as in arrears. This I feel is grossly unfair!
