No correlation with the adverts and the actual experience.

I called to apply for a cheque account, the agent (surname is Mathebula, I forgot her (Sotho) name), I politely asked if she could speak Tsonga, she said No and I asked again if she could speak any African language she still irritately dismissed my request and unfriendly continued in English without even acknowledging my request.

we went through with the cheque card application process, She was extremely task orientated and did not pay attention non-whatsoever to what I wanted to say, kept interrupting me, she took my details, kept me on hold, and sms's started flowing. She came back and only explained after.
Then we were on log ahead with the overdraft process. She did not want to bargain and it was her way or the high-way.

She did not seem to be patient with me at all, seemed to be looking forward to dismiss my case.

I think FNB has reached their full capacity and they don't need any of your business, I thought the Steve ads represented the experience you get with FNB. I am disappointed.

I guess I will stay with my Beep bank.
