On the 19th of March 2013 I was contacted by FNB on my request to open up a new platinum cheque and credit card account. I was assisted by a very efficient consultant who assisted me process the applications and who also gave me quote for the credit card account which I accepted. I received my cheque card soon after and this is where the good service stopped. I followed up a month later on my credit card status and I was told it is still in processing status. I phoned Premier again on 13 May 2013 to be told my application was deleted and I can only apply after 6 months again. I DID NOT REQUEST A CANCELLATION!! Elizabeth at Premier is assiting me but is also hitting a brick wall internally. Luckily I have not moved over my debit orders yet from ABSA to FNB because if this is the service I will receive from FNB I rather stay with my existing bank. I am in the process of buying a house and I really thought based on FNB's marketing campaigns that they would be my one stop solution as a bank.
