On 17th Janaury 2014, I called FNB business banking to enquire about business account for a newly registered company. The lady who assisted me informed me that the process can be done without me visiting an FNB branch. The process begins, send them all the required document through their upload site that was not uploading. The business banker asked me to email the documents of which i did. The frustration is that i have business orders, and clients who now need to pay but they cannot do so as the account is frozen before it was even open. I called and emailed them to no avail, each time, a different version of the story. A courier delivered the cheque card and refused to collect some document from me, but the call centre and the business banker assure me that the courier will deliver and collect. What is the use of the Cheque Card now??? Yes i have received smses that a courier will fetch my documents, i even offer to deliver myself but eish..I regret opening with FNB, even though on personal capacity i have two accounts with the bank.
