I am sadly dissapointed in Nedbank. I am a new client moved over from Standardbank to Nedbank for personal reasons. I opened a cheque account for my wages to be paid in and to start saving and banking at a bank that I thought is excellent. I have a cheque account and overdraft at standard bank. When opening a account at nedbank I also applied for a overdraft and a credit card. Sadly to say that I was declined. I started at a new job for my previous job went under business rescue and for that I had to skip a month payment on my accounts. I do feel this was unfair and for declining a person for one mont and not even a bad credit record. I am so dissapointed that the staff did not even ask any reasons. As a new client placing trust in a bank I feel this was delt incorrect. Nedbank has really dissapointed me and I am sad to say shocked. I do hesitate to move over. I do have my new cheque account but very very very disappointed.
