I have been banking with fnb for the last 15 years. I am a platinum card holder. I cancelled a scheduled payment in Dec 2013 as I no longer need to make that payment. Now.. today it goes off again. Fnb does not want to take responsibility should my other debit orders not go through, and then my name goes in to question? I will not accept this. Nedbank has basically offered me so many benefits, but I stuck with fnb. NOW I am questioning whether I should close my account and go to nedbank where they WANT me as a customer. I phoned my premier banker this morning.. had to hold for 9 minutes and then got told they will phone me back. No apology for their negligence??? No sorry for the inconvenience??? This is not acceptable. And fnb prides themselves with service and their technology and benefits. To me... this is in question now.
