Bad service

My platinum debit card was eaten by an ATM last Saturday morning. When I phoned to cancel they said I could go to a FNB branch (and stand in the queue) or they would order one for me but it would take 4 to 5 days. I phoned my branch today and they tell me that there is no card ordered for me on the system. I am supposed to have a private banker but have never had the pleasure of meeting such a person and now I have been told that I must either go to a branch or phone the call centre - either way it will take 4 to 5 days.
As i said, I have a private banker at both FNB and RMB but have met neither. After 30 years of banking at FNB and having to put up with many frustrations I still believe it must be the worst bank in SA. My business bank is Nedbank and what a difference.
