I tried to get a statement at the self service kiosk. When I asked the consultant why she said its because it is a cheque account I cannot get one, she told me to go to general enquiries and onceI fot to the counter after waiting a while because there was only one consultant she told me to go to another counter, again waiting in line I was told by the third lady that she cannot hive me a statement because its not in the system and if I do want one I need to pay atleast R30 some odd rand per month and I have to wait afl few days for it. I have never heared something as ridiculous as this before. This is seriously bad customer service after standing inline for so long and I never ever had a problem with getting a bank statment before. This is rediculous Absa stop waisting pwoples time and ontop of it charge people these colosal bank charges. ALL I WANT IS A THREE MONTH BQNK STATEMENT IS THAT SO HARD.
