Loren Jones, a credit to the industry

My debit for Old Mutual went unpaid in Dec 2012 . An arrangement was made that suited me. A few days later my Child was accepted at university and a deposit was due. I made a loan at work and the money was deposited into my account 9th Jan 2013. The Old Mutual debit was taken off and i was left with a big whole in my account. I called your call centre and was greeted by a Loren Jones, who asked me to supply my paperwork and that she would try and assist as best as possible.
After sending my paperwork, she replied and noted she was attending to my matter and would get in touch. In less than an hour she came back saying they would not be able to refund the payment as there was no payment for the month before and hence proceeded to explain how the debit order process works. I was dismayed and at a loss for words as it looked as if my hopes for my child were disappearing before my eyes. I could here the compassion in her voice, as she made me at ease. She went out of her way, constantly re-assuring me she was doing her best to help me. She was finally able to find a solution and I am eternally grateful to her and Old Mutual. This lady epitomizes what customer really is!
