I would just like proof of residence for a personal matter. I checked my mortgage account statement
and they have the wrong address. I asked them to change it and send me a letter as my account is incorrect (their fault). They said they can't do that until its changed on their system. I have waited a week now. They have changed it but say they can't send me a statement now. I have been on the phone for about 4 HOURS!!! in total trying to just get proof of residence. (The account I want to open requires proof of residence from a bank, and won't accept anything else as it is an international verification). Why can FNB not just give me something proving the address of the house that I have a mortgage account with them for???
I have written this while on hold with them, and this is probably my 15th call in the last week!!!
