IPad deal - the headache continues

I made a complaint on 06/03 ("Switching accounts - what a mission" ) regarding my mom opening a new personal cheque account and taking up the iPad deal. Soon after I got a call from Ratanang who quickly and efficiently resolved the issue, or so I thought. Its sad that after her great service, I was let down by someone else.

After opening the account, I was informed that it had all been approved and that iPad would be delivered on the 25/03 (or around then). The date came and went, but as it was Easter I thought it understandable and gave it some more time. I eventually called last week to find out what had happened, and was told that actually it had not been approved, and some documents needed to be submitted, which no-one mentioned before.

After calling several times this morning, it turns out that as there aren't any debit orders on my mom's account she isn't eligible for the deal (never mind the 6 other accounts she has with FNB).

I was further told the iPad could be ordered using her business account, and instructed to call dotFNB. This was also false information as a business account cannot be used for this.

I'm not sure what to do. Ironically. neither does anyone at FNB.
