So after calling outsurance yesterday to update my details, I was informed that since I was now the regular driver, the premium would be going up. During the call I was never informed that my bank account would be debited today for said increase, no sms, no email, nothing. Conveniently at 7.37 pm today, my account gets debited and it being January, there wasn't enough funds in my account. If people did their jobs correctly and efficiently and informed me during the day then my credit history would be intact. I expect nothing less than a letter of apology stating that returned debit order is entirely the fault of outsurance. I intend to apply for a bond next month and outsurance's negligence, this returned debit, could prove to be a huge blow to my chances of getting the bond approved.
