Outsurance deduacted money off my account on 1 March despite being formally advised on 19 February that I would not be accepting the quotation they gave me for car insurance. I then proceeded to cancel the debit with my bank but was informed I need to get a letter from Outsurance. I was given a letter by Outsurance who advised that I was cancelling an insurance. This was not correct as I had not accepted the insurance cover. The bank couldnt assist as the cancellation was for after a deduction on the premise that I had been paying insurance fees due to Outsurance. I called Outsurance and forwarded the email of rejection of the offer they had given me. Since 7 March 2013, I have been phoning them to advise that I should not be refunded a fee with any deuctions on it as the money was not due to Outsurance. I was informed on 8 March 2013 that I will be refunded within 2 days. I have not received money in my account. I called on 11 March 2013 to follow up and was asked to get a bank statement and email it and they would release the funds to me. I am certain that I will not be reimburesed for all my expenses in claiming what is rightfully mine in the first place. Poor service at best
