17 Oct 2013 I received a phone call from Shirley HUTCHINSON at FNB Home Loans,
advising me that my bond was fully paid up and it should be cancelled.
I advised Shirley to please leave my bond open, because I had
insurance with (Outsurance), on my building that was debited to the loan
account, on a yearly basis.
Shirley said she could see that, but the bond still had to be cancelled and that
I should speak to (Outsurance), to see if they could debit my account on a
monthly basis, otherwise I would have to get insurance from another company.
Outsurance and FNB was part of FIRSTRAND but it is no longer the case.
On the radio FNB are for ever-asking "HOW CAN WE HELP YOU" it should be
"HOW CAN WE YOU"
There are ATTORNEYS fees and DEEDS OFFICE fees of - R1800.00 which was for
my account. I don't want my bond to be cancelled why must I pay? This is what
I get for giving them 34 years service. This is how the "" pensioners as they dont make money because my bond is fully paid up.
