Yesterday while accessing Allan Gray online I discovered that while I was logged in to the allegedly secure area I was monitored and tracked by an external site, apparently situated in the USA, namely beacon-1 dot newrelic dot com. While Allan Gray is entitled to monitor my connection and login according to their terms of use using an external site with which I am not contracted to do so and possibly directly collecting potentially compromising info to the USA introduces unacceptable risk to using their allegedly secure online services.
Even if the data collected and transmitted and stored elsewhere is not directly financially transactional it may fall into the wrong hands, be it criminal, or lawless US government agency.
May even allow countries where I am not resident or citizen to falsely calim taxes.
I complained yesterday, spoke to a call centre agent who got Allan (don't remember surname) to call me back who promised to follow up today but did not.
