I settled two loans with Direct Axis 7Feb 2013. One on my name and one on my husbands name.
A few months ago I applied for Finance at another institution and the loan on my husbands name reflected on my credit record as current/outstanding and that a standing debit order is in place for it.
Two days ago we receive a qualifying letter and invitation to take up another loan with Direct Axis and on this letter it reflects an outstanding amount of R1153.46.
I do not have a debit order going off my account for monthly payments and according to my knowledge this loan has been settled almost 12months ago.
I tried calling your call centre but Samantha did not want to give me any information as they needed to verify details with my husband. My husband was not with me at the time and I asked them to call him later the evening or the next morning.
I have had no response from their call centre.
I need further investigation into this matter urgently as this is reflecting negatively on my credit record.
