Application for homeloan takes longer than 30 days

I have submitted an application for a homeloan to Nedbank with who i have been banking for at least 30 years now. my application was acknowledged on 04/12/2013 when additional info was required. i have supplied all the information that i have been asked for. i have even met with Kole Sithole on 11/12/2013 to see if there is anything i can do to speed up the process. from this meeting Kole had requested additional information which i have submitted on 06/01/2014, to date 22/01/2014 i still do not have an answer! the developer from where i intend the purchasing of a property is about to cancal the sale agreement. what do i do?? changing to another bank is painful and starting all over just sets the application back even more. its already been escalated, with no real success. Kole Sithole told me that she was on leave till this week, how can i expect an answer! so customers suffer bad service delivery when employees take leave? how about contingency planning? do i reaally have to face the pain of switching banks? after all these years? but then others promise such innovation that maybe it will be worth the pain. why must i experience this bad delivery? just not acceptable!
