Opening an Account Took Forever!

My ABSA Bank card stopped working early Dec 2013 and instead of ordering a new card, I decided to switch to FNB because of ebucks and Engen petrol savings. Since its advertised to take less than 10mins to switch your account I opted to apply online. I was contacted more than 24h later and spoke to a very friendly consultant to explain all details. Thats were the service ended. I was told numerous times that a employment contract is sufficient for a chq and credit card account, since I started a new job. Sibusiso from Merchant Place branch was very helpful and loaded all docs on the system. He really tried to help. But even after all his efforts, they still contacted me for docs. It ended up being a day before christmas for me to get my chq card and luckily I could buy christmas gifts! After two weeks being without a card! I received my credit card a few days ago (with the incorrect design!!! urgh) and still didnt receive my ebucks card! Im really getting annoyed with the service and need someone to please just fix everything for me. I believe the advertisements all over the radio are misleading and opening accounts are NOT hasle free! I shouldve just ordered a new card from ABSA...
