My name is Avikash Signarian, about 6 months back a guy from Discovery Card called me up and ordered me a credit card with them, i explained to him that I do not want credit, he than explained that I can use my own money and still receive the benefits from the card, so I asked him if there is going to be any charges to this card, he said no there is no charges at all, so I went ahead with it, about 3-4 months later I started to notice that I was been charged for the card so I cancelled the debit, and after I cancelled it a lady called me about 1-2 months later and told me that I need to pay like R500 or so, so I explained her what I just typed out and she said that she will get someone to call me back (but no one Calls back).
In December I was transferring money to someone through cellphone banking and by accident sent R700 to the Discovery Card, so I called discovery and the lady I spoke to explained that I must send an email to discovery and explain that I need the money to be reversed and I must add my account details, I did and still no response.
I even send am email to the compliance department and still no response
