On the 22/08/2012 my husband settled his Game account in full, almost a year and a half later we apply for finance and only to find out he has been listed on credit bureau as a bad debt written off!
after 2 days of phone calls to Game, Rcs, vericred, Easternberry and who knows who else as everyone we called gave us a different number to call. eventually we got a hold of a shayheed in capetown who tells us that there is no-one we can talk to and the only way to get a letter to say this account was paid was by sending an email. i explained the urgency of needing this letter needless to say it didn't phase him as the protocol was to send an email, Seriously!
we need this letter by today! not 24 hours later or what ever the turn around time is. Both game and the attorneys have confirmed that this account was paid up. so why list it as written off???
Please your urgent assistance on this would be appreciated. all i want is a letter stating that the account is paid up!
