UNFAIR CREDIT BUREAU ENLISTING
Im writing to express my frustration with a recent experience i had with Edcon. On the 15th of August 2013 i received a message from Edcon that Trans Union listed me as a slow payer.
I have been a loyal customer of Edcon since 2009 and try to pay my account on time. But for the month of August I paid less than what was required, required amount was R412.56 and i paid R200.00 therefore an amount of R212.16 was overdue
I am unhappy because i was listed at the credit bureau without any notification. No written letter nor telephone call that my account will be listed at the credit bureau. As per Edcon Terms and Conditions under Default and Termination i was suppose to be given written notice.
This issue has affect my credit history in a very negative way, I feel that Edcon was very harsh as my name is listed at the bureau for 2 years just for making a short payment of R200. But despite the short payment I PAY MY ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH.
