I bought my Smart cover late 2011 on a three contract and paid up front. I recently submitted a claim to fix the a scratch on the back bumper of my car. The car (Volvo) I have only has two (Bells Coachwork & Faber) authorized panel-beaters, submitted my claim it was rejected based the DAMAGE EXCEEDING the indemnity limit of the 16 September 2013. I was requested to used their preferred panel-beaters (M &R), the quotes was submitted to them and now the claim is rejected based on the scratch being longer than 15 cm. The cost of the claim is R 1700, R 800 less than the prescribed limit! For real! Clearly they do not want to pay for this scratch. I'm very disappointed with the treatment and services I received from Smart Insurance. Clearly they do not care about their customers and their running a money making scheme.
There are useless and please do not BUY these type of insurances because the services providers will do everything in their power to reject the claim, like they did to ME. Useless, Useless!!!
