Horrible experience at Standard Bank branch

I arrived at the bank this afternoon at about 14h30 to deposit my kids' school fees. The queue was long and the service was slow as usual. At 15h30 the bank closed and we were still in the queue waiting to be helped when we were told that their system is slow and it can shut down any minute. We stood still in the queue and the lady from thee enquiries side came out and told us that we can make our deposits via the ATM outside and they reassured us that the ATM is working, those who were there to make deposits for businesses like Old Mutual etc must come the next day. It was now 16h10, I went to the outside ATM to make the deposit and to my surprise the ATM was not working. I went back to the bank since I was in the queue there. The security guard did not allow me in, told me to come back tomorrow and the way he said it he didn't care how I feel after standing in the queue for hours. He didn't even care about the the fact that I was in the queue when the bank closed. So I went back home very disappointed with the attitude I received and there was nothing I could do because all the banks were closed by then. I so wish that the school could just change to another bank.
