I have been with miSmarts through Miway for almost three years now. I am very disappointed that, for the very first time when i try to use their services on claiming for minor scratches they can not even try to assist me. I called in sometimes in December to report an incident that my car has been scratched, the clams consultant requested that i get quotes from a list of their authorised suppliers. I also informed her about other scratches that were existing in my car. At that point she could have advised that there is an indemnity clause that didn't allow old scratches...
When i submitted everything i was alarmed by the fact that they cannot cover the scratches i had reported. luckily one of the panel beaters advised that i only make a quote for the recent ones because the insurance company might reject the claim if i include old scratches on my claim. Furthermore i was sadden by one of the panelbeaters who clearly stated that miSmarts are bad payers and there are still outstanding invoices due by them as far as two years. They told me that they cannot assist me because of the reputation that miSmarts has of not paying.
I am flabbergasted because they cannot even pay my claim
