Money was or lost

I went to make a couple of cash deposits, 2 deposits were for my account with STB. I went to information to get the correct account number, settlement amount and ref. Walk to teller and deposited the money. I wanted to settle account with STB as I was unhappy with serv. I was told by inform. That it would take 24hrs for money to reflect he cant close account immediately. 3 days later I get msg from bank saying payments due. Go tp branch they say the money is lost they cant track my deposit slip, no video footage ect. Its a cheque account so money would have shown immediately according to manager. So why would information lie. I cant find my copy of deposit slip but gave them all the paperwork I had on me on the day with payment information that was handed over by information guy. I took out a loan to settle this account so cant except that money is gone. This has been the 3 bad incident ive had with STB and was my reason for leaving to fnb. 1st money was taking from my account took them a year to sort it out and stop debit, 2nd my account number was someone else's old account they started writing cheques and taking my money and now this.
