My name is Masego and I lost money in my account that was transfered from African bank to Capitec on the 06/06/2013, the very same day at night i received a call someone said that he is calling from capitec asking me my personal information the i refused to give them any information i told him that i will go to the bank the following day. i went to the bank the following day to withdraw money only to find out that my account is sitting at zero, i consultant with the consultant and the manager of mafikeng capitec they told me that i gave the person who called me at night my pin number of which i did not. i lost /- R11 000, my heart is very sore right now i am a cleaner by profession and that money i loaned it to complete my house.
Now they cannot refund me, then last week my salary got in as i did not want to close my account same thing happened they my money again and still capitec refused to give me my money as i am right now, i am penniless. Please help me i really need this money.
If i do not get any assistance i dont have choice by to go to the media or ombudsman. I am very disappointed with the way capitec handled the situation cause i choose to bank with them.
