Topup cover didn't cover my full claim!!

I have 3 complaints. First: The service received from the consultants at Absa insurance is terrible. I sent my AOL on 13/12/2013, claim number 2510638. I was told I'd have feedback within 3-4 working days. After the 4th day no one contacted me. I had to call them for follow ups every other day but no one could tell me how far my claim was. I called again today 07/01/2014, I was told that only R17000 was paid on 06/01/2014. This means I still owe my bank! Which makes no sense.
This brings me to my 2nd complaint. No one called me to tell me that they are paying my car finance and how much they will be paying.
3Rdcomplaint. Why do I have topup cover if they are only paying R17000? My understanding of having topup cover was that they would pay the balance owed on my car. Also, they consultant Lutendo could not tell me why they only paying R17000. So what does he do at Absa anyway if he doesn't know what's going on? Whats worse is that my car finance and topup cover is with Absa. I would have thought that the full amount would be settled?? Or am I missing something.
