I bought a car, January 2012 and i was financed by Absa, i then took a TOP COVER with them, which i was happy to and i was briefly told that the purpose of top cover is to pay the outstanding balance when the insurance doesnt pay all the amount when the car is involve in an accident, and i took it. unfortunately, i had an accident and insurance didnt pay the full amount and when i contact ABSA, i am told that they less than R1.500 instead of paying the R19 062.00 that is short. to me this is a suprised because i was told that it will covers the rest that is left by insurance. this is my 3rd complain about ABSA this year and for the first two, am still waiting to hear from them after they contacted me... this is all being created by their consltant who gives us client false information when they calls us and offer us this POLICY and when its time to claim we are told otherwise. i this i need to change banks because lately am not treated right by ABSA at all. they have not sorted out my POLICY COmplain i reported last month and now this and ive been calling to try and get information nothing...
