I returned the car rental on Friday morning the 1st Feb, after being informed by TC Panelbeaters that my car was ready for collection.
Firstly my car didn't want to start since the alarm was going haywire. It had to be reset every single time they attempted to start it. When it eventually started, I drove out the workshop & the car was making the strangest noise. It didn't sound safe so I stopped on the roadside, got out, & as I walked around the car, I noticed unfamiliar scratches on the petrol flap area.
I returned the car to the workshop & asked that someone drive with me so as to hear what I heard. The rudest man got into my car & again, it refused to start. I tried to tell him to reset the alarm but he ignored me and got jumper cables. The car was still dead so I just reset the alarm & off we drove. He said that my wheel bearing needs to be fixed & that I would have to sort it out. I asked to see pictures that they took before they worked on the car & found no scratches on them. They say the battery is the problem because they know fixing the alarm will be more costly.
I left without my car, I have no car rental and TC Panelbeaters haven't called! How can I stay calm really
