I have just called ADT to enable me to reset my alarm after a power failure as the alarm is making a beeping noise. They have previously helped me to reset the alarm.
I contacted the technical department and was informed they are not ALLOWED to trouble shoot over the phone any more and they would have to book a call for a technician to come and do this.
The cost will be R400 for 2 minutes work.
The question must now be asked why do they have a technical department if they are not allowed to help you over the phone?
Get rid of the technicians then and employ school leavers to log calls.
