FNB MIDRAND COULDN'T ACCEPT MY SA PASSPORT!!!

I DECIDED TO GO FNB BANK MIDRAND BRANCH ON THE 26TH OF DECEMBER 2012 TO RENEW MY BANK CARD BECAUSE IT HAD EXPIRED. (I CURRENTLY LIVE IN LONDON). HOWEVER, WHEN I GOT THERE THEY DIDN'T ACCEPT MY SOUTH AFRICAN PASSPORT AS A FORM OF IDENTITY. THEY ASKED FOR MY ID BUT I CAREFULLY EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT MY ID IS IN LONDON BECAUSE I DIDN'T THINK THERE WOULD BE ANY PROBLEMS RENEWING MY BANK CARD USING A VALID PASSPORT AND THAT WHERE I CURRENTLY LIVE I COULDN'T JUST GET IT BECAUSE THAT WOULD MEAN THAT I HAD TO PAY R14000 AIR FEES TO FETCH IT.THEY THEN TOLD ME TO DO AN AFFIDAVIT STATING WHERE MY ID IS. THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND THAT MY ID IS NOT EASILY ACCESSABLE. I WENT BACK THE FOLLOWING DAY WITH THE AFFIDAVIT THEY STILL REFUSED TO SEVERE ME!! THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE! I DECIDED TO GO TO FNB GREENSTONE AND THEY DID ACCEPTED MY PASSPORT AS PROOF OF IDENTITY, THIS FNB BANK IS SUPPOSE TO BE UNIFORM IN POLICIES EVERYWHERE ISN'T IT? THE BANK STAFF AT MIDRAND DID NOT EVEN HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE TOWARDS ME WHICH IS MAINLY WHY I AM COMPLAINING. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S BECAUSE THEY THINK I AM YOUNG. IT'S ALSO JUST UNACCEPTABLE HOW THEY COULD SEE THAT MY IDENTITY WAS LEGITIMATE BUT STILL REFUSED TO ASSIST
