Applied for a cheque account 1 month ago and courier came to deliver my card about 5 days later.
he didn't if he could take passport instead of ID so was going to check with the bank and come back in a couple minutes... He just left. I then received a call from the bank saying they would accept my passport and that the courier would come back on Wednesday... He came on Tuesday instead and i didn't have my documents as i wasn't expecting him,
the bank then sent my card to Bellville which always had a ridiculous queue. I then had it sent to tygervalley only to have them tell me they only accept id. During this process they deactivated my account and my salary was rejected, i was then told they were holding it for me till my account was activated. Another lie! Cancelled my account which also took forever as there systems were down
