HelloPeter, I have tried everything. You are my last hope. I took out a loan with Standardbank last year April of R3000 (I regret the day), I paid through a debit order each week of R88.89. I even transfered extra funds when I had extra cash left. At times woudnt debit my accounts, when I enquire they would tell me lame stories that there were system problems. I then would transfer funds to that loan, later they would make transfers themselves without contacting me. I get more than 5 irritating calls daily, sms's that my Loan is Overdue. I'm fed up. Weeks ago I asked for Settlement account which I paid. They sent a request to close my account which they never did. On Tuesday I called Loans lines, they told me that it shows no outstanding balance, out of all the Consultants, their Team Leaders I spoke with, all the branch. They all promised to Update their systems but no one bothered to. I was assured that after paying the settlement amount that it will be closed, now I'm suprised The loan account is not closed, infact its owing money. This Morning they Debited the Installment R450 which I dnt know what is for. Pls help me, I won't pay my Car instalment coz of them. I'm stressed..
