I had stopped working for Fnb on 15 December and was paid my full salary. I was told I will get my leave days paid to me after that. To my shock I was not paid out my full leave days and got short changed on my leave days by more than 50%.When I queried that with HR Iwas told that I was "MISTAKENLY" paid my full salary on 15 December. But all staff get paid their full salary on 15 December because of Christmas. I took out credit and can no longer pay because I knew I was going to get paid my full leave days which turned out not to be. It is unethical and dishonest and now I am paying the price of being in arrears and it is affecting my credit history because of FNB's mistake. My lawyer advises that I got a strong case against FNB.I want what is rightfully mine and please do not make excuses that the working month is from 1st TO 31st OF EVERY MONTH, IT IS FROM 20th to 20th of every month.
