I lodges a Motor glass claim with the Santam Call Centre on Tuesday the 17th of December. received no feedback and phoned the call centre back on Wednesday the 18th. during the call all the details of the policy, car and damage was confirmed and excess payment of R250 was confirmed by Salim. I subsequently went to PG Glass to book the car in with them and take the process further. Today on the 20th (PG Glass never provided feedback) I requested feedback on the claim and PG Glass informed me I have no Motor Glass cover on my policy. I phone the call centre again and the lady, Genevieve, confirmed there is no cover??? now the excuse is that Salim did not have my policy details readily available when I had spoken to him??? what a lame excuse when he confirmed the vehicle registration number and everything on the system - such an easy way to back out!!!
Just yesterday I rejected a marketing call from another insurance company stating that I was happy with my current insurers being Santam.
I am not happy anymore.
