Poor customer service

I applied online for an iPad Mini on the 4th of December, to avoid the Christmas rush. I received an acknowledgement SMS that stated "they will advise me of the outcome shortly". That feedback NEVER came. On the 12th I decided to call and find out what's going on. It sounded like the person had no idea I had applied before, and I got the impression that she loaded another application from scratch. So any progress that might have been made went down the drain.

Nevertheless, I still haven't had ANY feedback, either positive or negative, about the outcome of the application.

I understand that the people dealing with this are busy over Christmas, but that cannot be the excuse for unacceptably poor service, the lack of proper processes, and simply just dropping the ball.

Call me back and explain to me what's going on, if I am getting a device, and when I can expect it. And if you do decide to approve the application, I expect it on Saturday 21 December, since it has already been almost three weeks.
