HOME LOAN APPLICATION

On the 7th November we applied for an advance/further loan on our existing One Account facility which was declined on the 27th November as the credit dept advised only one salary was taken into account - which we were not advised of up front. We then decided to convert to an ordinary home loan. On the 11th December we were advised the conversion would be actioned. I received the documentation to complete on the 18th December - but everything was only in my name. Today we have now been advised that the credit department has requested a copy of the title deed to confirm that the property is in fact registered in two names. A deeds office search would suffice - does home loans not have access to this. The bond was taken out seven years ago and was to be registered in both names. I am flabbergasted, disgusted that a simple request can take so long due total incompetency by the staff at home loans
