FNB Home loans are the worst department to try and deal with in the First rand bank group. I have all my products with FNB from Vehicle Finance to credit and cheque accounts and recently applied for a Home loan. Do not try and apply for a home loan at FNB, except for the mere fact that they are about 4 weeks slower than any of the other banks they don't know what is happening from one desk to another. Since my application landed at FNB home loans there was 5 credit checks done on my name with ITC so I would like to know why 5 times and I want proof what happened with the first check that was done or I want it rectified. All the other offers and my offer to purchase has already expired and only then did FNB made me an offer. I think that the home loans department is working with Steve.
