I am disgusted that FNB was unable to re-process a home loan application through a bond originator in 1 week. The response has always been that it takes longer for a re-application and it's still with the credit department. I have an excellent credit history and I am insulted that despite having all my accounts and another bond with FNB they clearly do not value the business I have provided to date and query my sustainability being self-employed, even though this has been the case for at least 4 years (1 year sole proprietor and 3 in partnership). FNB clearly do not understand that being an Occupational Therapist, even if in a partnership, you are classified as an independent practitioner. I am further disgusted that when also trying to process the home loan application through the bank, the staff did not know all the relevant documentation I needed to submit. Instead, they continued to request more documentation over 1 week. In addition, I, the customer always had to follow up for feedback via the staff and call centres. I will never recommend you claimed "quality service" from this point forward. I also plan to investigate moving to another bank, who have granted me a home loan.
