First National Bank
MISSING BOND A/C NUMBER

It is 1 year now that we have been trying to locate an account number/title deed. We have a deceased estate where the title deed shows a registered bond of R85 000 for first rand bank and we do not have an account number. This was registered in 2004 and we even traced the transferring Attorney only to find that they detroyed the records. Every time we phone FNB we have promises to come back the very same day. We have been referred to Affordable Housing that can not help us because there are 3 departments and each one passes the buck and refer us back to home loans. Home Loans advised that they have referred the query to securities but that I must understand is another department and they do not know how they work. Looks like FNB have so many departments and so many Managers that this query have been going around because nobody wants to take responsibility to sort it out
