Who is to blame - incompetent staff of incompetent management? (Std Bank Home Loans Department)
We have a trust account with a access bond with Std Bank (for the last two years now)
We have applied for a second bond which were granted (though we have not signed yet)
Suddenly (without any warning) our existing access bond is blocked (outstanding fica docs ...)
This is the very documents we have used to apply for both the first and second bond. Why do we have to fax all the document again to unblock our access bond? This is . Incompetence on Std Bank side. We went back to Standard Bank Bayside but were advised that the Home loans department only work weekdays and we had to fax all the documents to them on Monday - then it can take up to three days to unblock our account.??
The friendly consultant at Bayside branch could do nothing to help us but told us we could lodge a complaint at the Home Loan Department. Well, this is my first attempt to do just that - make it public. We will send the documents - again, but do not understand why our account was blocked in the first place because they already have everything.
