I have had this increase in premium of 43% without notification. I called the call center to query this and was told that it will go 'management' for a re-rate and would take 5 working days. I also request a copy of the sent item from them notifying me that of the increase in premium before the debit order was increased. They got back to be today notifying me that the re-rate was successful and that my premium increase would only be 32% instead of the original 43%!!! And needless to say, no attachment of the proof of the sent item that I requested. My point is that I have an NCB of 11 years and I don't why I should subsidize the industry with an increase of approx . 40%. I really don't understand why the likes of Mercedes Benz deal with such unprofessional organizations like Alex Forbes. And this prompted me to cancel my insurance with them.
