HARASMENT

I went online with the view to opening a FNB account, completed some forms and one of the agents called me, I answered some questions and was then told that I would need to take in 3 months bank statements and Rica docs and my payslips in order to open the account. I NEVER, EVER went into the branch to do this as it was November and I was finalising everything prior to going on leave and then I was on leave. From that moment on I was BOMBARDED with telephone calls, sms's and emails constantly 'REMINDING' me to go in and take all the required information. I got so irritated that I emailed back and requested that they stop harassing me as I was no longer interested in an account with FNB due to the constant harassment!!! To my amazement I received a statement for 2 months costs on an account which I NEVER even opened, the charges amount to R179 per month x 2 GRAND TOTAL OF R360!!! I replied stating I have not opened the account and for them to reverse charges and close the "non-existing" account. To my dismay they reply telling me I must go into the MY branch and close the account. 'REALLY'??? I dont have an account or branch!!!
