I opened an FNB account when i start working. My "bank charges" was more then R500 each month and when i inquire this in the Jacaranda branch the agent's reply was: i cant explain the charges, i ask for the manager more then once and everytime the manager was not available... I stop using this account and moved to ABSA and struggle from 8 months ago to close the FNB account... everytime there is charges of R800-R100 that i need to pay other wise FNB threatens me to give me over to ITC... on 2nd of December i paid a amount of R715.10 and i called in and an agent said i can close the account there is no more money outstanding, again i could'nt close the account as tehre is R79 outstanding, this is only 2 days after i paid in full and this account is not even in use... the card is stopped 2 months ago... FNB is very unhelpfull and the manager if Jacaranda's responce is: i hgave this to head office - and i need to count my words as i said FNB is not honnist with their clients and they from me as i need to still pay them monthly and i dont even use FNB anymore!!!
